malvina is a multimedia artist/designer who mixes traditional and digital media, fibre and architectural theory to create various sculptural installations.
she likes to dote on various concepts and subject manner via the creation of sculptural shapes that often touch upon process, form, labor, dedication, repetition and destruction of knitting.
the subject matter and concepts considered (in no particular order and include projects in progress that are not posted) are: sexuality, femininity, the absurd, the social perceptions of human form, math theory, political climates, and the evolution of ideas over a period of time and their subsequent historical footprints.
on the design end of things, she designs book covers and various pieces of printed work when commissioned to do so. she also loves architecture and sometimes participates in competitions for the joy of a challenge. she is available for freelance hire.
malvina practices yoga, has a bike, loves noodles, appreciates a good beer, reads more non-fiction than fiction (but loves a good story), and dances a dance frequently.
